About The Role
Education Support Advisor
INTERNAL APPLICATIONS ONLY
This 0.9FTE (32.85 hours weekly) fixed-term post is available from 19 October 2026 on a fixed-term basis to cover a maternity until 15 October 2027.
Applications for secondments will be considered subject to agreement from your current line manager.
The starting salary will be from £33,951 (per annum pro rata) on Grade E, depending on knowledge, skills and experience.
This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working - some time on campus and some from home.
As a key member of the Education Support team, you'll be part of a Hub Team supporting the delivery of programme and student support, contributing to the vibrant learning environment at the University of Exeter. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow as a team leader and manager in an administration and customer services environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide advice, guidance, and administrative support to students and staff.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a small team delivering administrative and customer support services.
- Support the delivery of taught programmes across a diverse range of activities from enrolment to graduation, including student record maintenance, supporting assessment delivery and administration and awarding and progression.
- Collaborate within a cross-Faculty team to support undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
