Education Team Manager (Billing)
SEND | East Midlands Territory
Location
Annesley
Hours
40 hours | 7am–4pm / 8am–5pm term time | Reduced hours during school holidays
About the Opportunity
Build the desk. Own the territory. Grow the team.
This is an opportunity for an experienced recruiter to take ownership of a SEND recruitment territory across the East Midlands, build a high-performing billing desk and, as the area grows, have the opportunity to build a team around you.
About Our Team
Our Teachers UK team, backed by the wider Operam Education Group, has a strong reputation for placing talented education professionals into schools across the region. You'll have the opportunity to develop your own market, win new business, grow existing relationships and build a strong candidate network with the support, expertise and infrastructure of one of the UK's fastest-growing education recruitment groups behind you.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who enjoys the commercial side of recruitment: winning business, building relationships, growing revenue and seeing the results of the desk you've built.
Education recruitment experience would be great, but it isn't essential. If you've successfully built a desk and have a strong track record of billing in another recruitment sector, we'd like to hear from you.
As your territory develops, so does the opportunity. The longer-term aim is to build a team around a successful billing operation, giving you the opportunity to progress into people leadership and take greater ownership of the region.
What We Offer
You'll be supported by our wider Group teams, including Talent Acquisition, Marketing, Partnerships, Key Accounts, Compliance and Business Support, giving you the infrastructure to focus on what you do best.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
