We are looking for an enthusiastic Administrator to join our Thames Valley Workforce, Training & Education team. This varied role offers an exciting opportunity to support programmes that help develop the primary care and neighbourhood workforce across Thames Valley.

Working closely with programme leads, project managers and the Thames Valley Training Hub, you will provide high-quality administrative, communications and operational support across a range of education and workforce initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include supporting newsletters, websites and social media; coordinating meetings, training and events; maintaining databases and accurate records; responding to stakeholder enquiries; supporting CPD funding processes; producing reports and training statistics; and helping ensure programmes run smoothly from planning through to delivery.

We are looking for someone with strong organisational and communication skills who can confidently manage competing priorities, work independently and build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. You will be comfortable using Microsoft 365, handling data accurately and producing professional communications and documentation.

If you enjoy variety, working collaboratively and making things happen behind the scenes, we would love to hear from you.

A key part of the role will be supporting communications and engagement activity, including newsletters, websites, social media, presentations and promotional materials. You will also support CPD and University Accredited Module processes, including managing queries, maintaining funding records, raising purchase orders and assisting with expenditure reporting.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
