Job Title: Education Tutor
Salary: £27,000 - £31,000 + Benefits (subject to qualifications and experience)
Contract Type: Permanent
Line Manager: Head of Education
The purpose of the Education Tutor is to provide a high-quality teaching and learning experience for our further education students, studying toward a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport.

Knowledge, skills and experience - essential
- Hold a recognised teaching qualification (QTS*, QTLS, CTLLS, DTLLS) * Role suitable for an ECT.
- Experience of working within an educational or further education environment.
- Degree in Sport or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant knowledge and experience.
- Experience of planning, delivering and assessing engaging learning programmes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate young people.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines.
- Commitment to continuous professional development, including the ability to reflect on and improve teaching practice.
Knowledge, skills and experience - desirable
- Knowledge and understanding of the Cambridge Technical qualification suite.
- Proven experience of teaching or delivering Level 2 and/or Level 3 Sport and Exercise programmes.
- Experience of working within a sporting environment.
- Strong understand of safeguarding and learner welfare.
