Role Description
The Educational Psychologist role at Civic Recruitment Limited is a full-time remote position focused on supporting children, young people, and educational settings through psychological assessment and intervention. Daily responsibilities include:

- Conducting assessments to identify learning needs, emotional or behavioral challenges, and barriers to achievement
- Producing clear reports with evidence-based recommendations
- Consulting with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to design and implement tailored strategies and interventions
- Advising on inclusive practices and special education support
- Contributing to training and workshops for school staff
- Keeping accurate records and documentation
- Staying current with research and legislation in education, psychology, and mental health to inform best practice

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Educational Psychology and Psychology, with the ability to apply psychological theory and research to educational contexts
- Knowledge of Mental Health and child and adolescent development, including experience supporting emotional and behavioral wellbeing in educational settings
- Understanding of Education systems and practices, with the ability to collaborate effectively with schools, colleges, and local authorities
- Expertise in Special Education, including assessment for special educational needs and advising on appropriate interventions and accommodations
- Recognized qualification in Educational Psychology (e.g., postgraduate degree) and eligibility for relevant professional registration or accreditation
- Excellent analytical, report-writing, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences
- Experience working in public sector or education environments is beneficial, along with strong collaboration skills in multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage a caseload, maintain confidentiality, and use digital tools for assessment, consultation, and reporting
