Educational Psychologist Associate - North West England and West Yorkshire

Including Calderdale, Leeds, Bradford, Manchester and surrounding areas (Face-to-face work required)

As an Educational Psychologist with Psychology Direct, you will carry out statutory and non-statutory work on behalf of our LA and MAT partners across the North of England. This is face-to-face and remote work delivered in schools and settings across Manchester, Leeds, Calderdale, and the wider North West and West Yorkshire areas.

Your Responsibilities

  • Conducting psychological assessments to support EHCP processes and statutory requirements
  • Developing evidence-based intervention strategies for children and young people with educational, developmental, and social-emotional needs
  • Providing consultation to schools, teachers, SENCOs, and senior leaders
  • Collaborating with parents, carers, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Contributing to systemic and whole-school work where appropriate
  • Producing high-quality, clearly written psychological advice and reports

What We Are Looking For

  • Qualified Educational Psychologist with a relevant postgraduate qualification (doctorate or equivalent)
  • Registered with the HCPC
  • Minimum 2 years' post-qualification experience working within a UK educational or LA context
  • Current enhanced DBS
  • Strong assessment and report-writing skills
  • Able and willing to work face-to-face and remotely across North West England and West Yorkshire
  • Excellent communication skills with children, families, and professionals
