A Message From Us - The People You’ll Support.
Hi! We’re a group of seven individuals who live at Limes, one of the homes at David Lewis. We’re not just looking for a support worker - we’re looking for someone who’ll become part of our everyday lives.
We each have our own personalities, goals, and dreams. Some of us love music, others enjoy swimming, cooking, or going on adventures. What we all have in common is the desire to live independently, learn new things, and have fun doing it - and we need someone who’ll support us with kindness, patience, and a big smile.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Residential Educational Support Worker, you’ll be doing more than just a job - you’ll be helping us grow, thrive, and enjoy life.
Your Days Will Include
- Supporting us at home - helping with cooking, cleaning, and building life skills through active support.
- Guiding us through education - supporting us in college or school as we learn and prepare for the future.
- Being there for us emotionally - helping us manage routines, feelings, and personal care.
- Making life fun - joining us on trips, to the cinema, swimming, or just having a laugh together.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
