Derby Training Hub

Salary - £27,000 - £37,000 (Depending on qualifications)

As a Dermalogica Educator, you are a highly skilled Professional Skin Therapist (PST) and inspiring educator who delivers training across all markets, retail, professional skin centres, colleges, medical practitioners and internal teams.

You embody Dermalogica’s values and expertise, representing the brand with professionalism and passion wherever you are in our training centres, on retail counters, in partner businesses, or live online. With a balance of advanced technical skills and strong commercial acumen, you deliver education that not only elevates skin therapists but also drives retail and service success.

This role requires flexibility, adaptability, and a passion for education you are available to support across the Dermalogica estate wherever needed. You are a passionate, confident, and highly skilled Professional Skin Therapist who excels in both treatment delivery and commercial retailing. You love inspiring others, can adapt to varied audiences, and thrive in fast-paced, diverse environments.

  • Level 3 Beauty Therapy (including electrical modalities) minimum.
  • Level 4 (microneedling, peels, advanced modalities) preferred.
  • Level 3 Award in Education and Training or equivalent preferred.
  • Impeccable hands-on treatment skills with proven client results.
  • Strong retail skills with a track record of driving sales and building client loyalty.
  • Experience delivering training/education to diverse audiences.
  • Confident presenter, both in-person and digitally.
  • Organised, proactive, and flexible able to travel and adapt to different training environments.
  • A true Dermalogica brand ambassador: professional, passionate, and inspiring.

Other Requirements

  • Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel extensively.
  • Able to work occasional evenings/weekends for events or education delivery.
  • PC literate with Microsoft Office and digital learning platforms.
  • Physically able to deliver training and treatments across varied environments

Deliver education to the highest standard

  • Facilitate workshops, live training, and digital sessions across retail, professional skin therapists, college students, medical practitioners and Dermalogica employees.
  • Share both technical skills (treatments, skin science, devices, advanced services) and commercial skills (retailing, client building, conversion).
  • Maintain impeccable PST skills and demonstrate all services with confidence and safety.
  • Take responsibility for the training environment, ensuring set-up and delivery reflect Dermalogica’s professional standards and brand representation.

Drive retail and professional growth through education

  • Translate education into action by supporting delegates with practical selling, consultation, and service-building skills.
  • Deliver training that equips teams to increase basket size, build client loyalty, and convert services into product sales.
  • Support retail accounts with bespoke training, promotional activity, and service awareness strategies.

Be a flexible Dermalogica ambassador

  • Deliver training across all Dermalogica training centres, concessions, retail counters, and external venues as needed.
  • Represent Dermalogica at industry events, consumer activations, PR opportunities, and digital channels.
  • Support education projects and initiatives, ensuring consistency across the Dermalogica estate.

Collaborate and innovate

  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Education colleagues to ensure aligned strategies.
  • Share insights from the field to help evolve training programmes.
  • Contribute to the ongoing review of Dermalogica’s Education pathway to keep it relevant, innovative, and inspiring.
