Paediatric Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist

Combined Child Health - RACH

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team on a permanent basis. Clinical work will primarily be based within Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital, however, the post holder will be expected to be flexible and provide cover to services within Grampian if required. All settings within Combined Child Health SLT have a well-established multi-disciplinary ethos. The post involves working with children with a range of complex communication, eating and drinking difficulties aged from 0-18 years.

Within the department of Speech and Language Therapy in Combined Child Health, we are committed to staff development through regular meetings, supervision and ongoing support and training. As RACH is a teaching hospital and has a wide range of specialist services (some covering the whole of the North of Scotland), we offer excellent opportunities for personal and professional development.

If successful, the post would provide cover for Fridays only. The post will be contracted for 7.2 hours per week, with all hours worked on a Friday to support service provision and maintain continuity of care for patients.
