Job Title: EHC Coordinator
Location: Barking & Dagenham
Term: Temp initially 3 months
Rate: £32.80 hour PAYE
3 days in the office
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities? Our client, based in Barking and Dagenham, Greater London, is seeking a dedicated EHC Coordinator to join their dynamic Education team on a temporary basis!
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the statutory process for Education, Health, and Care (EHC) needs assessments for children and young people aged 0-25.
- Ensure timely delivery of EHC Plans, working collaboratively with children, families, and professionals.
- Manage a caseload, ensuring appropriate support, resources, and placements are in place.
- Facilitate multi-agency meetings and provide written briefs for EHC panels.
- Support the annual review process and attend key meetings to advocate for service users.

What We're Looking For
- A Level 3 Qualification or equivalent.
- Knowledge of the Children and Families Act 2014 and SEND Code of Practise 2015.
- Experience working with children and families in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with families, schools, and professionals.
