The Kirklees EHCP Team is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated EHCP Casework Assistant to join our friendly, supportive, and forward-thinking team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping to ensure they receive the right support to achieve their full potential.
As an EHCP Casework Assistant, you will work closely with children, young people, their families, schools, educational settings, and a wide range of professionals to support statutory SEND processes. You will provide essential administrative and casework support throughout the Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) journey, helping to ensure that children and young people receive timely and effective support.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Providing high-quality administrative support across the EHCP process.
- Communicating with families, schools, educational settings, and partner agencies.
- Coordinating information and documentation required for statutory assessments and reviews.
- Supporting compliance with statutory SEND timescales and processes.
- Maintaining accurate case records and data management systems.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and professionals to achieve positive outcomes for children and young people.
