We are looking for an organised, proactive and compassionate EHCP Coordinator to join our Additional Learning Support team and play a key role in supporting learners with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).

Role Summary

As an EHCP Coordinator, you will support the College's consultation and review process for young people with EHCPs, ensuring statutory requirements are met and learners receive the support they need to succeed. Working closely with students, families, college staff and external agencies, you will coordinate annual reviews, maintain effective communication with stakeholders and champion a person-centred approach throughout the EHCP process.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience supporting learners with additional needs who is committed to improving outcomes for young people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the identification and tracking of learners with EHCPs across the College.
  • Liaise with students, parents/carers, external agencies and college staff throughout the consultation and review process.
  • Coordinate and prepare annual reviews, including gathering information from key stakeholders.
  • Chair EHCP annual review meetings as directed by the line manager.
  • Attend Year 10 and Year 11 annual reviews where required.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements relating to EHCPs and the SEND Code of Practice.
  • Promote and deliver a person-centred approach to EHCP reviews and learner support.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to reporting and quality improvement activities.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners to support positive learner outcomes.
  • Participate in training, professional development and appraisal activities.

Essential Criteria

  • Hold a relevant Level 4 qualification.
  • Experience of working with learners with a wide range of learning difficulties, disabilities and impairments.
  • Strong knowledge of learning difficulties and disabilities and their impact on learning.
  • Knowledge of SEND legislation and the requirements surrounding EHCPs.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, families, staff and external professionals.
  • Ability to manage a demanding workload and work effectively on your own initiative.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
