HIRING: EHCP COORDINATOR

St Vincent College & Richard Taunton Sixth Form College Trust Position

30 hours per week | Term-time only (39 weeks)
£16 per hour PAYE | £20 per hour Self-Employed

We are looking for an experienced and passionate EHCP Coordinator to join our team and support students with EHCPs, SEND and High Needs across both colleges.

About the Role

You will be responsible for coordinating the EHCP Annual Review process for a caseload of students, ensuring appropriate support is in place and working closely with students, parents/carers, college staff and external professionals.

  • Coordinating and chairing EHCP Annual Reviews.
  • Supporting students with SEND and complex needs.
  • Liaising with parents, teaching staff, SENCOs and external agencies.
  • Supporting student transitions into and within the colleges.
  • Maintaining accurate student records and ensuring EHCP support is delivered effectively.
  • Working with the Learning Support and High Needs teams to support funding and statutory requirements.

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in working with SEND/young people or adults with complex needs.
  • Highly organised with excellent communication and administrative skills.
  • Confident working with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Passionate about supporting young people and helping them achieve their potential.
  • Knowledgeable about safeguarding, confidentiality and relevant SEND legislation.

Essential Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS including Child Barring, dated within the last 3 months, or registered on the DBS Update Service.
  • Experience working with SEND/complex needs is highly desirable.
