Why Southwark?

Southwark offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of Preparing for Adulthood, supporting young people with SEND to move confidently into further education, employment, training, and independent living. As a PfA EHCP Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in shaping high‑quality, outcome‑focused EHC plans that genuinely prepare young people for adulthood.

You’ll work collaboratively with young people, families, education providers, health, social care, and adult services, in a borough that values coproduction, strengths‑based practice, and inclusion. With a strong focus on professional development, reflective practice, and supportive leadership, Southwark is a place where your expertise can make a real and lasting difference.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Coordinating Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) for young people aged 14–25, with a strong focus on Preparing for Adulthood (PfA) outcomes.
  • Leading and managing EHCP processes, including annual reviews, transitions, and amendments, ensuring plans are timely, lawful, and high quality.
  • Working directly with young people and families to ensure their aspirations, views, and strengths are central to planning.
  • Collaborating with education providers, health, children’s and adult social care, and employment services to support successful transition to adulthood.
  • Promoting outcome‑focused planning across the four PfA areas: employment, independent living, community inclusion, and health.
  • Managing complex cases and supporting effective problem‑solving across agencies to improve outcomes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
