About the Role
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Epic-certified/accredited professional with a keen interest in digital healthcare. The successful candidates will join an experienced and diverse team of analysts who support UCLH’s Epic EHR and our wider digital partnerships. Our current opportunity is in our team supporting ED, inpatients, Theatres and Maternity with expertise across the following modules; Orders, Stork, OpTime/ Anaesthesia, Clin Doc, and ASAP.
Patients are at the centre of everything we do. Epic helps us deliver safer, more efficient and patient-centred care by giving staff and patients access to the right information, in the right place, at the right time. Our team also supports the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH) and will play an important role in future Epic Connect partnerships.
The post holder leads the design, configuration, build and testing of their application module, ensuring delivery against governance, quality standards and project plans. Working with clinicians, operational managers and subject matter experts, they analyse service needs, define best practice workflows and support system optimisation aligned with Trust strategic objectives.
They develop and support analysts, collaborate across integrated EHR teams, and contribute to upgrades, testing and safe deployment of new functionality. The role includes resolving incidents, providing specialist end user support, and maintaining strong relationships with departmental leads to ensure effective, clinically aligned system use.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
