A Snapshot of Your Day
Join us as an EHS Advisor at Siemens Energy UK&IE, where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) performance across our business. Imagine being a visible leader on-site, actively embedding an EHS culture and engaging directly with operational teams. You will collaborate closely with these teams to ensure our Integrated Management System aligns with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards, while also meeting customer expectations and applicable legislation. Your contributions will be essential in supporting EHS objectives and fostering a proactive Safety Culture within the organization.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Act as a visible and proactive presence on-site, leading by example to embed a strong EHS culture.
- Provide EHS support, advice, and guidance to operational teams throughout the project lifecycle and during ad-hoc site visits.
- Plan and conduct EHS engagements, inspections, assessments, audits, and reviews, presenting site EHS performance data to internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead investigations of incidents and near misses, ensuring thorough root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with UK EHS legislation, Siemens Energy standards, and ISO certifications (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001).

What you Bring?
- NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety (or equivalent); working towards NEBOSH Diploma preferred.
- Proven experience in EHS roles, ideally within the energy sector, with strong knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- Lead Auditor Qualification preferred, but not essential.
- Strong understanding of EHS regulations, CDM 2015, and environmental management.
- Ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

You will be part of the GS EU&AF EQS EHS team, collaborating closely with regional and local stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of EHS strategies and compliance. This dedicated team is committed to fostering a robust EHS culture and driving continuous improvement in safety and sustainability.
