Are you an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety professional looking for your next challenge? We're seeking a proactive EHS Advisor to cover our Sandiacre and Beeston sites. In this varied role, you'll help drive a positive safety culture, ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations, and support the continued development of our ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems. The Role
As an EHS Advisor you will be required to:
- Provide expert Environmental, Health and Safety support and guidance to employees, managers and site leadership teams.
- Maintain and develop EHS management systems to ensure compliance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
- Conduct internal audits and support the preparation and delivery of external audits and regulatory inspections.
- Deliver EHS training, including new starter inductions and safety related training.
- Lead and support incident investigations, ensuring corrective actions are identified and implemented.
- Promote a positive safety culture through regular shop floor engagement, EHS walks and employee involvement initiatives.
- Monitor safety performance, track improvement actions and prepare monthly EHS reports and committee meetings.
- Provide guidance on risk assessments, COSHH assessments, PUWER compliance and other EHS-related processes.
- Manage key environmental programmes, including waste management, energy conservation, noise control and Legionella compliance.
- Support the EHS Manager in driving continuous improvement, regulatory compliance and the site's overall EHS strategy.

The Candidate
The ideal EHS Advisor:
- Holds a NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) and has proven experience within an EHS role.
- Has a strong understanding of EHS legislation and its practical application within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Possesses working knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems and continuous improvement principles.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across the business.
- Is proactive and hands-on, with a passion for driving a positive safety culture and engaging employees on the shop floor.
- Is highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
