JMG Solutions EHS Advisor Opportunity

JMG Solutions is currently seeking an experienced EHS Advisor to join a major data centre project in Northern Ireland on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive Health & Safety professional with strong construction experience who is looking to develop their career within the rapidly growing data centre sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day EHS support across the data centre project.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits and safety observations.
  • Review and monitor RAMS, risk assessments and method statements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety and environmental legislation.
  • Support accident, incident and near-miss investigations.
  • Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings.
  • Monitor subcontractor and contractor compliance.
  • Identify hazards and implement appropriate corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate EHS documentation, reports and records.
  • Work closely with site management and project teams to promote a strong safety culture.
  • Support the continuous improvement of EHS standards throughout the project.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an EHS Advisor / Health & Safety Advisor within construction or a similar environment.
  • Relevant NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of construction health and safety practices.
  • Experience with RAMS, risk assessments, inspections and audits.
  • Experience working with subcontractors and large project teams.
  • Data centre experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy site environment.
