HSE Advisor | Naylor Drainage
Cawthorne, South Yorkshire
We're looking for an HSE Advisor to join our team, helping to drive a strong safety culture across the business. You'll work closely with managers and employees to embed HSE standards, spread best practice, and ensure legal compliance across our manufacturing sites.
What you'll be doing
- Ensuring legal compliance with EH&S legislation
- Advising and supporting departments on HSE matters
- Creating and monitoring company standards (e.g. PPE, contractors)
- Investigating and analysing accidents, incidents and near misses
- Creating and maintaining EHS processes and documentation
- Producing Toolbox Talks and Safety Alerts, and monitoring delivery
- Working with production teams to resolve HSE-related operational issues
- Monitoring HSE legislation changes and updating company systems accordingly
- Overseeing HSE training and Occupational Health visits

What we're looking for
- Proven EHS experience in a manufacturing environment
- NEBOSH qualified (or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of HSE legislation
- Practical experience with temporary works, lifting operations, working at height, and work equipment (incl. LOTOTO)
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to influence at all levels
- A positive, driven attitude with strong communication skills — equally comfortable on the shop floor and with senior stakeholders
