Teledyne Energetics UK are seeking a HSE Advisor to join their teams and to cover both sites in Lincoln.
The successful candidate will lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of HSE programs, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, corporate policies and procedures, and ensuring continued ISO14001 & ISO45001 approval.

Your responsibilities will include assessing workplace environments, identifying potential hazards, and initiating programs to minimize risks related to chemical, physical, and ergonomic factors. You will also conduct inspections, provide guidance, and enforce adherence to environmental, health, and safety regulations—helping to foster a safe and compliant workplace for all.
Key responsibilities of the HSE Advisor role will include:
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable legal, corporate and ISO requirements.
- Implementing site level EH&S programs, policies and procedures and maintaining associated documents.
- Managing EH&S duties such as documenting and maintaining applicable records required by permits, conducting risk & COSHH assessments, employee training and Tool Box Talks.
- Investigating incidents, near misses and implementing corrective and preventive measures to prevent reoccurrence.
- Monitoring environmental impacts of operations and identifying areas for improvement.
- Working closely with corporate EH&S Team to ensure compliance and conformance with corporate EH&S Policies to include but not limited to Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and Health and Safety Management Systems (HSMS) and site department leaders to enhance EH&S culture and awareness.
What we're looking for in you
- 5+ years of directly related experience, preferably gained in a manufacturing environment.
- Advanced knowledge of EH&S regulations, management systems, regulatory agencies, trends and resources.
- Proven ability to conduct risk and COSHH assessments, audits, and incident investigation.
- Experience of using MS Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint; preparing analytical results and charts/graphs.
- Working knowledge of Environmental, Health and Safety Management Systems (EMS/HSMS).
- It is essential you have high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
