Description

The EHS Manager – UK is a strategic role responsible for leading the Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) initiatives for data center construction and development projects in the UK region. As part of a developer-led organization, the EHS Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that all projects comply with UK legislation, environmental policies, and best practices while promoting a robust culture of workplace safety. This role will be based on our Didcot site with some ad hoc travel to other sites in the UK and potential European travel, where required.

This role requires proactive engagement with internal development teams, contractors, and external stakeholders to minimize risks, enhance sustainability, and ensure operational excellence during the planning, construction, and operational phases of CloudHQ’s data center projects.

  • Develop, implement, and monitor EHS programs across all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with CloudHQ’s corporate standards.
  • Ensure compliance with UK legislation on health, safety, and environmental protocols.
  • Manage environmental impact assessments and ensure sustainability practices are incorporated into all development projects.
  • Conduct regular audits, site inspections, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
