Role Summary
To ensure the continuous improvement in all aspects of Safety, Health and the Environment at Kitt Green through the implementation of robust risk management processes.
To support operational and capital project teams, to ensure formal and robust risk management compliance, improving systems and processes to ensure legal compliance, that reduce and control the accident and environmental incident performance.
To help, empower and engage our teams towards are more mature safety culture whereby we each take responsibility for our own safety and for the safety of our co-workers.

Key Responsibilities

- Work closely with Operational Managers and teams to improve and implement safe systems
- Collate safety data and complete management reviews of plans
- Delivery of key training activities
- Ensure compliance to legislation
- Track and plan improvements to Heinz Safety Processes
- Improve the site’s KHMS Compliance
- Maximise regulatory compliance
Expected Experience And Required Skills
- Ideally qualified to NEBOSH certificate
- Previous experience of implementing systems and demonstrating improvements in EHS metrics
- Must display positive enthusiasm and be able to engage people and influence at Senior Management level
- Demonstrates drive and passion in delivering a safer workplace with the ability to identify the root causes of incidents
- The ability to simplify and interpret complex legislation to a wide range of stakeholders.
- Natural coaching skills
- An understanding of UK Health and Safety legislation including Fire and the Environment
