Job Description: EHS Manager
Are you an experienced EHS Manager and passionate about defining and driving the Environmental, Health and Safety standards?
We are looking for an experienced EHS Manager to join our team based at our site in Sheffield. You will be a key member of the European EHS Leadership Team, with a matrix relationship to the UK EHS Manager. Driving and leading the implementation of strategic EHS performance plans and objectives across the Sheffield sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the EHS Management of all sites within the area.
- Planning, implementing, coordinating programs to reduce or eliminate occupational injuries, illness, and claims by showing due diligence around environmental impacts in line with European strategy.
- Assisting and supporting personnel in safety and environmental hazard assessment including the implementation of effective control measures.
- Providing up-to-date advice and guidance to the management team on legal compliance, best practice, strategy implementation, and industry standards.
- Assisting and supporting the management team on environmental permits for associated areas.
- Ensuring compliance with company management and ISO accreditations, ISO 14001, 45001, and 9001 where appropriate.
- Compiling and evaluating incident statistics to identify patterns and trends to target risk reduction and monitor effectiveness of EHS strategy.
- Developing and delivering new and refresher in-house training programs.
- Overseeing projects and initiatives in all EHS areas.

Experience/Background:
- A minimum of five years' experience working in a manufacturing environment or similar industry within EHS.
- Previous experience in a multi-site role.
- Excellent IT skills for report writing, analyses of data statistics, and development of new and refresher training packages.
