Job Title: EHS Safety Coordinator (B16)
Reports into
EHS Manager
Role Summary
The EHS Coordinator supports the delivery and continuous improvement of Environment, Health and Safety standards across Kitt Green. This is a developing role within the EHS team, focused on supporting KHMS routines, maintaining accurate EHS data and documentation, improving ways of working, and helping operational teams understand and follow safe working practices.
The role suits someone who is organised, curious, detail-focused and confident working with others. It requires good Microsoft Office skills, a willingness to learn digital tools and EHS systems, and the ability to communicate clearly with Operators, Team Leaders, TRIO, Managers and other stakeholders across different departments and shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent EHS in daily, shift and operational meetings, ensuring actions are clearly captured, followed up and closed on time.
- Act as a first point of contact, alongside the EHS team, when incidents occur; support the response, ensure investigations are completed, and confirm actions are clearly owned, tracked and closed.
- Support EHS routines, implementation of EHS KHMS processes and KPI tracking across Kitt Green.
- Coach and support Operators, Team Leaders, TRIO and Managers to understand EHS expectations and complete safety activities effectively.
- Analyse EHS data (audits, inspections, BOS, near misses, HiPOs and incidents), turning findings into clear insights and recommendations that support conversations with Operations, Engineering and site leaders.
- Lead the review, compliance and continuous improvement of Task Risk Assessments, Safe Working Practices and control measures.
- Support and deliver EHS training, communications, awareness materials, campaigns and site initiatives that strengthen site safety culture.
- Maintain accurate EHS records, action trackers, audit evidence, training records and system documentation to support KHMS and compliance requirements.
- Support audits, incident follow-up and EHS improvement projects, escalating risks or compliance concerns to the EHS Manager where further support or decision-making is required.

Expected Experience and Required Skills
- Basic understanding of EHS requirements, risk assessment principles and safe working practices, or a willingness to quickly develop this knowledge.
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Forms and Copilot, with the ability to maintain trackers and prepare clear reports.
- Clear communication skills, with confidence to lead or support conversations with Operators, Team Leaders, TRIO, Managers and other stakeholders.
- Good organisation, attention to detail and ability to follow actions through to completion within agreed timelines.
- Learning agility, with the willingness and ability to learn digital tools, EHS standards, KHMS processes, systems and manufacturing ways of working.
