A Snapshot of Your Day

As an EHS Specialist, you will support operational teams in maintaining the highest standards of Environment, Health, and Safety across sites. You will provide expert guidance, promote a proactive safety culture, ensure compliance with legislation and company standards, and contribute to the successful delivery of Siemens Gamesa’s sustainability and renewable energy objectives.

How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Provide visible leadership, coaching, and mentoring to operational teams, promoting a strong health, safety, and environmental culture.
  • Act as a trusted EHS advisor, delivering expert guidance and ensuring compliance with company standards, customer requirements, and local legislation.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor site HSE plans, with particular focus on environmental, sustainability, and energy management initiatives.
  • Track and analyse environmental, sustainability, and energy KPIs, implementing improvement plans where required.
  • Support site teams in resolving HSE challenges and sharing best practices across multiple locations.
  • Lead incident investigations, ensuring corrective actions are implemented effectively and within agreed timelines.
  • Drive proactive engagement with employees and contractors to strengthen safety awareness and accountability.
  • Partner with site management teams to implement EHS initiatives and address compliance or performance gaps.
  • Prepare HSE reports, performance analyses, and contractor evaluations to support business objectives.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement and support the resolution of significant HSE deviations while upholding Zero Tolerance policies.

  • Previous experience in an EHS Advisor, Health & Safety Specialist, or related role.
  • Strong knowledge of international and local HSE regulations, compliance requirements, and environmental permitting processes.
  • Experience working within renewable energy, construction, manufacturing, or another highly regulated industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, coach, and communicate effectively within multicultural and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience monitoring KPIs and delivering continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Confidence in stakeholder management and presenting HSE-related information to operational and leadership teams.
  • Full driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally as required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and a solid understanding of local legislative HSE requirements.
  • Passion for renewable energy and a commitment to creating safer, more sustainable workplaces.
