The Opportunity

Are you a commercially driven Business Development professional with experience across the NAV, IDNO or DNO markets? This is an exciting opportunity to join Leep Utilities as an EHV Business Development Manager, helping us grow our network adoption portfolio across EHV connections including data centres, BESS, residential, commercial and mixed use developments.

Leep Utilities is a UK-based last-mile multi-utility company working in partnership with developers, landowners and project delivery partners. We provide network adoption for electricity, water and wastewater and heat networks, and we own and operate regulated and non-regulated networks. With an IDNO licence, Ofwat-approved NAV services and backing from Ancala Partners LLP, we deliver value through innovation, transparency and a customer-centric approach.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Strategic Sales, you’ll take ownership of the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting through to operational handover. You’ll build strong relationships with developers, ICPs, SLPs, utility consultants and other key stakeholders, converting opportunities into commercially robust wins while working closely with Marketing, Business Development and Operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Building and developing relationships with developers, ICPs, SLPs and utility consultants, both new and existing.
  • Building out the sales pipeline through prospecting and networking, including BESS and other EHV opportunities.
  • Working with the wider Business Development team to develop sales and marketing growth strategies and plans.
  • Negotiating with business owners, directors, finance, procurement and energy managers to maximise commercial terms.
  • Managing the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting through to operations handover.
  • Working closely with the operations team to understand client requirements and identify potential project delivery solutions.
  • Attending seminars, conferences and events where appropriate.
  • Using social media platforms to help build Leep brand awareness.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
