About Wharf Street Studios
Wharf Street Studios (WSS) is a UK-based creative and technology company working at the intersection of entertainment, intellectual property, technology, gaming, and emerging media.
We are building a portfolio of innovative businesses and intellectual property with global ambitions, and we are looking for an experienced EIS Sales Executive to help grow our UK investor network and communicate our investment opportunities to eligible investors.
The Role
As an EIS Sales Executive, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging and developing relationships with prospective UK investors who may be interested in qualifying EIS investment opportunities.
You will work closely with the leadership team to understand our investment proposition, communicate it clearly to prospective investors, manage the sales pipeline and support investors through the onboarding process.
This is a relationship-led role. We are looking for someone who can confidently speak with high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, professionals and experienced investors, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and compliance awareness.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and develop a pipeline of prospective EIS investors.
- Conduct structured outreach through telephone, email, LinkedIn, networking and investor events.
- Qualify prospective investors based on their interests, circumstances and eligibility.
- Clearly explain the company’s investment proposition, EIS structure and associated documentation.
- Conduct investor calls, presentations and follow-ups.
- Build long-term relationships with prospective and existing investors.
- Maintain accurate records of investor interactions and opportunities within the CRM.
- Manage prospects through the complete sales funnel, from initial contact through to investment completion.
- Work closely with the leadership, finance and legal/compliance teams to ensure accurate and appropriate investor communications.
- Support investor webinars, private events and presentations.
- Develop relationships with relevant professional networks, including entrepreneurs, accountants, IFAs, wealth advisers and investor communities.
- Track sales activity, conversion rates, pipeline value and investor engagement.
- Gather investor feedback and provide insights to the leadership team to improve the proposition and sales process.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
