Elastic Consultant – multiple opportunities
Predominantly remote | Occasional client travel
Excellent salary + bonus + support in development and funded certifications
SC Clearance (or higher) required
We have multiple opportunities available, including permanent positions and Outside IR35 contract roles.
We’re supporting one of the UK’s leading specialist technology consultancies as they continue to expand their Elastic consulting practice. This is an opportunity to join an experienced consulting team delivering complex Search, Security and Observability solutions across Government and enterprise environments using the latest Elastic technologies.
Rather than working in a traditional engineering or operational support role, you’ll gain exposure to a broad range of customer projects – spanning consulting, architecture, implementation, migration and managed services across the Elastic ecosystem.
If you’re an experienced Elastic professional who enjoys solving complex technical problems and wants to develop further into consulting and solution architecture, this could be an excellent next step.

About the role
You’ll work across a variety of secure customer programmes, helping organisations design, implement and optimise Elastic solutions.
Depending on your experience, your work could include:
- Designing and implementing Elasticsearch solutions
- Supporting enterprise Elastic migration programmes
- Developing and optimising ES|QL queries
- Working with structured and unstructured data
- Delivering technical workshops and customer consultancy
- Producing solution architecture and technical designs
- Performance tuning and optimisation
- Supporting projects throughout the full delivery lifecycle
What experience we’re looking for
We’re keen to speak with candidates who have experience across some of the following:
- Elasticsearch
- Elasticsearch Query Language (ES|QL)
- Elastic Stack (ELK)
- Kibana
- Logstash
- Beats
- Search technologies
- Data and platform migration projects
- Solution design and architecture
- Customer-facing technical consultancy

You’ll also need to hold active SC Clearance or higher.
Nice to have, but not essential
You don’t need to tick every box, but experience in the following would be particularly valuable:
- Commercial Elastic implementations
- Migration projects into Elastic environments

- Strong communication and consulting skills
