Elastic Consultant - exciting migration project
Remote delivery, with a very occasional travel to West Midlands
Good rates Outside IR35 and immediate starts available
We're supporting a specialist technology consultancy delivering large-scale Search and data migration programmes across secure Government and enterprise environments.
At the moment they are expanding and are looking for two Elastic Consultants with Elasticsearch and ES|QL experience to support a major migration programme. This is a very exciting role, that could potentially lead to more projects and extensions. And if you would prefer, they might be open to discuss a permanent opportunity as well.
About your role
As a Consultant you will joining an enterprise-scale project, involving the migration of large volumes of data from source systems (HDFS), into the Elastic platform.

You will be supporting the full data onboarding lifecycle, including data ingestion, transformation, parsing, enrichment, indexing, and optimisation within Elastic SIEM environments.
The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting similar migration or onboarding projects in complex enterprise environments and has technical knowledge of Elastic, ELK, ESQL, as well as data pipelines, and performance tuning.
What will you do ?
- You will be working on a massive enterprise migration, and your role would be to provide support around work related to Elasticsearch and ELK stack
- You will search and transform data in Elasticsearch using Elasticsearch Query Language
- Advising on Search optimisation, pipelines and performance tuning
- Participating in the Customer workshops
- Providing Technical consultancy and technical advise
- Solution implementation

Required Experience
- Strong Elasticsearch and/or Elastic Stack experience
- Hands on experience with Elasticsearch Query Language
- Experience with data pipelines, and performance tuning.
