eLearning Content Officer
📍 Mainly Remote | Occasional Travel to Edinburgh
💰 Up to £30,000 + Benefits
📅 8-Month Fixed-Term Contract
We're working with a well-known public sector organisation seeking an eLearning Content Officer to join their growing digital learning team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience creating and maintaining online learning content who enjoys combining creativity, technology, and stakeholder engagement to deliver engaging digital learning experiences.
The Role
You'll support the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of a suite of online learning resources, ensuring content remains accurate, accessible, and engaging for users.

Key responsibilities include:
- Creating, updating, and maintaining content within a Learning Management System (LMS)
- Developing interactive learning materials using tools such as Articulate 360, H5P, video, and multimedia content
- Supporting the review and enhancement of existing eLearning modules
- Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop new learning resources
- Ensuring content meets accessibility standards and best practice guidelines
- Proofreading and quality checking content prior to publication
- Producing reports and insights on learner engagement and module performance
- Supporting ongoing improvements to the user experience across digital learning platforms

About You
We're keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate:
- Previous experience creating or updating digital learning content
- Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Moodle or similar platforms
- Knowledge of eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate 360 and/or H5P
- Strong proofreading, editing, and attention-to-detail skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- A collaborative approach and willingness to work across different teams
