An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Medicine Directorate for an Elective and Diagnostic Booking Officer, based at Wexham Park Hospital.
This position is offered on a fixed-term contract for 12 months.
We are seeking an approachable, motivated, and patient-focused individual who will uphold our Trust values and deliver an excellent standard of service to patients and colleagues.
- This is a busy and fast-paced role, requiring exceptional organisational and multitasking skills, alongside the ability to work calmly under pressure.
- You will play a key role in coordinating elective and diagnostic appointments, ensuring that patient pathways run smoothly and efficiently.
Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to teamwork are essential. The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn, contributing positively to a supportive and dynamic administrative team.

The post holder will be responsible for:
- Booking appointments across all Trust sites.
- Having an active role in the implementation, as well as ongoing monitoring of both new and existing appointments systems.
- Assisting with meeting Trust targets.
- Offering very high customer service skills for patients and both internal and external staff.
