Dornan Engineering Group is a leading international engineering contractor delivering high-value projects across Europe, UK & Ireland. Based in London this is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Electrical team as a LVAP, supporting the delivery of our project.
Plan the development of the project, with the responsibility of operational engineering issues. Liaising and co-ordinating with clients, other members of the design team and contractors on technical and commercial issues.
Your Team
As a member of the team, the LV AP will be reporting to the Project Manager & will be an exemplar ambassador for the company and its values, integrity, dependability, safety, pride, and quality
Your day will include:
- Ensuring that all operations comply with the Electricity at Work Regulations and other relevant safety standards.
- Implementing and adhering to safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of personnel working with electrical systems.
- Control, operate, and maintain low voltage systems, ensuring that all equipment is functioning correctly and safely.
- Prepare reports and front-end studies including capital cost estimates, project schedules, material take-off and tender schedules.
- Keeping up to date the delivery schedule to control deliveries.
- Monitor progress against the program and issue progress reports.
- Producing look ahead programs to assist production.
- Carrying out Quality Control through inspections and snagging.
- Carrying out document control, recording & transmitting information.
- All other reasonable tasks assigned to you from time to time from your manager.

Your Experience
- Detailed knowledge of the LV AP role.
- Basic commercial understanding.
- Health, Safety and Environmental systems.
- Knowledge of the team's strengths and weaknesses.
