The Electrical Assistant supports the Estates Electrical Team in delivering safe, effective, and responsive maintenance services across all Trust sites. The post holder assists with planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, minor works, and installations, ensuring compliance with Trust policies, statutory regulations, and health and safety requirements. The role contributes to maintaining essential electrical services and to supporting a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

- Assist qualified electrical staff with routine maintenance, inspections, repairs, and installations across the Trust’s electrical infrastructure.
- Support planned preventative maintenance programmes.
- Respond to reactive maintenance requests.
- Complete maintenance records and job documentation.
- Assist with surveys and audits.
- Help maintain patient-facing equipment and facilities.
- Participate in emergency response activities.
- Provide support to other Estates trades as required.
