Electrical Building Services Engineer
The Opportunity
We are working with a leading UK construction contractor seeking an experienced Electrical Building Services Engineer to join its Building Services team in Bristol. You'll support projects from pre–construction through delivery, coordinating design, procurement and installation while working alongside project, design and commercial teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support tender and pre–construction activities including design reviews, buildability assessments and value engineering.
- Coordinate consultants, subcontractors and internal stakeholders to deliver fully integrated M&E solutions.
- Manage technical queries, RFIs and design changes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead coordination of electrical services, ensuring compliance with specifications, programme and budget.
- Review and approve technical submissions, installation drawings and commissioning information.
- Monitor procurement, factory testing and delivery of plant and equipment.
- Carry out site inspections and support construction teams to resolve technical issues.
- Ensure designs meet quality, safety, maintainability and commissioning requirements.

About You
- Experience delivering electrical building services packages within construction.
- Background with a main contractor or M&E contractor.
- Engineering degree, HNC/HND or equivalent preferred.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong understanding of design coordination and project delivery.
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast–paced environment.
