Currently we're looking for an Electrical Calibration Engineer to join our aerospace client based in Gloucester, UK. This project will be an initial 6-month contract with an ASAP start.

This is a predominantly site-based role in Gloucester, working closely with engineering teams across multiple programmes to ensure calibration requirements are correctly defined and implemented.

In order to suit the project requirements, you should have some of the following:

  • Strong understanding of electrical calibration principles and metrology
  • Experience defining calibration requirements and producing calibration specifications
  • Knowledge of measurement uncertainty and determining equipment fitness for purpose
  • Experience working within a UKAS-accredited test or calibration facility
  • Understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 10012 and ISO/IEC 17025 standards
  • Experience reviewing and verifying calibration certificates
  • Aerospace (AS9100) or other highly regulated industry experience such as automotive (desirable)
