We are looking for an experienced and qualified Electrician to join our team as an Electrical Compliance Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring electrical compliance is adhered to throughout the business, rectifying remedial works, managing contractors carrying out projects focused on electrical safety, creating and implementing processes and procedures about electrical safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that all electrical systems, installations and equipment have the correct maintenance, inspection and testing in place in accordance with current regulations and standards.
- Identify and rectify any remedial works required to ensure compliance.
- Oversee and manage contractors to ensure they are working to the required standards and meet the company's expectations.
- Carry out electrical safety audits and risk assessments, on electrical installations and panels.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve electrical safety and compliance across the business.
- Provide technical expertise on electrical safety matters.
- Ensure that all employees are aware of their responsibilities in relation to electrical safety and that they receive appropriate training.
- Input into the electrical training of current electrical apprentices.
- Ensure electrical compliance regarding machinery and functional safety to support the factory.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Fully qualified electrician with experience in the installation, maintenance and testing of electrical systems and equipment.
- Experience in improving electrical compliance and processes within a business.
- Has experience of a FMGC food production environment.
- Have a strong understand and up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations and standards such as the Electricity at Work Regulations, BS7671, and HSE guidance.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
- Has strong computer skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
