We are working with a global data centre delivery specialist providing design, construction, installation, and technical services for major mission-critical projects worldwide. They are looking to appoint an Electrical Construction Manager for a major data centre project in Jakarta. The position is particularly suited to an experienced UK-based electrical construction professional prepared to relocate to Indonesia for at least 12 months and take ownership of the electrical construction scope through installation, completion, and handover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full electrical construction scope across a major mission-critical data centre project.
  • Manage installation of critical electrical infrastructure including HV/MV/LV distribution, switchgear, transformers, UPS, generators, busbar, PDUs, earthing, lightning protection, lighting, small power, and data/structured cabling systems.
  • Lead electrical subcontractors and site teams, controlling labour, productivity, sequencing, and day-to-day delivery.
  • Coordinate electrical works with mechanical, civil, architectural, design, QA/QC, and commissioning teams.
  • Drive project milestones and critical-path activities, identifying slippage early and implementing corrective actions.
  • Participate in design reviews and constructability assessments, reviewing drawings, specifications, and electrical schematics.
  • Coordinate procurement and delivery of major electrical equipment and materials in line with the construction programme.
  • Own electrical quality delivery, including ITPs, inspections, testing, quality records, and close-out of technical issues.
  • Support cost control, resource planning, variations, change orders, and subcontractor performance management.
  • Support pre-commissioning, energisation, and commissioning activities including FAT, SAT, electrical verification, and IST.
  • Act as the senior electrical construction lead on site, maintaining strong relationships with the client, consultants, subcontractors, and internal leadership.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
