As an Electrical Construction Planner, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the successful delivery of electrical construction activities by developing, maintaining and monitoring detailed project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining detailed Level 5 electrical construction schedules.
  • Producing and updating four-week lookahead plans to support project delivery.
  • Aligning work schedules with the wider 16-week project lookahead and key programme milestones.
  • Monitoring progress and tracking installed quantities against planned outputs.
  • Establishing activity-level progress measurement and reporting requirements.
  • Integrating engineering, material availability, access requirements, resource planning, quality and commissioning activities into schedules.
  • Working closely with construction and delivery teams to confirm work readiness and identify constraints.
  • Producing accurate, evidence-based progress reports and productivity analysis to support project decision-making.

Qualifications

  • NC (or equivalent) in an Engineering discipline.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain BPSS Security Clearance.
  • Strong understanding of construction planning principles and programme management.

Experience

  • Planning experience within construction, engineering or infrastructure environments.
  • Experience developing and managing detailed construction schedules.
  • Experience monitoring project progress, productivity and quantity tracking.
  • Strong knowledge of project controls, scheduling methodologies and construction sequencing.
  • Experience working closely with multidisciplinary teams including engineering, construction, quality and commissioning functions.
  • Previous experience within the nuclear sector or another highly regulated industry would be advantageous.
