Electrical Contract Manager
Meridian are working with a growing Electrical company who are excelling within their niche of Electrical engineering, manufacture, and installation. This role would be ideal for someone with an industrial or manufacturing background, as their Electricians install various 1st and 2nd industrial gear such as SWA's, switch boards, power systems, engine power supply systems etc. They can offer a competitive package and are in a period of growth, so it's a great time to join their management team.

Requirements for this role:
- Background in managing Electricians on complex sites such as manufacturing or industrial sites
- SMSTS or equivalent management qualifications
- Electrical background required
- Experience of managing full project deadlines, with an ability to work to changing timeframe and budget requirements
- Excellent people skills with M&E engineers, client-facing meetings, or other subcontractors and engineers on site
- Computer literate, including online communications, ordering and procurement, and existing MS Office skills
- Full UK Driving Licence and UK Passport (there will be travel to both facilities in the Bradford/Wakefield area, as well as less frequent visits to the Frankfurt site)
Duties
- Constant management of project programme and lifecycles, with regular meetings and visits to both Bradford and Wakefield facilities to liaise with Site Managers and Engineers to get accurate timeframes and project updates
- Identifying potential bottlenecks and/or increased demands of labour or equipment to successfully manage onsite installations and manufacturing output
- Working closely with Site Management and Directors to provide ongoing production and timely site installations
- Managing material orders by working with onsite Management to stay ahead of programmes, and chasing procurement or delivery teams when needed
- Management of Site Management and problem-solving if a situation occurs that requires handling
- Help to support staffing and resourcing across the facilities and onsite facilities
