We are hiring an Electrical Contracts Manager in the Southampton area. You will be responsible for managing commercial, retail, industrial, and EV electrical projects from start to finish. The salary ranges from £45,000 to £55,000 per year, plus a company car and benefits. You will oversee budgets, lead site teams, and ensure high safety standards.

Full Time, Permanent position

Key Responsibilities

  • ✅ Run multiple electrical projects simultaneously.
  • ✅ Deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • ✅ Recruit, manage, and coordinate subcontractors and site staff.
  • ✅ Liaise with clients and main contractors.
  • ✅ Ensure all work complies with health and safety legislation.
  • ✅ Order materials and plan site work schedules.
  • ✅ Ensure all test certification and as-built drawings are issued to clients.
  • ✅ Follow design specifications and drawings, ensuring compliance on site.

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements

  • ✔ Time-served electrician background or a relevant electrical degree.
  • ✔ Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Project Manager.
  • ✔ Good knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • ✔ Strong financial and project cost management skills.
  • ✔ Self-motivated with excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • ✔ Full UK driving licence.
  • ✔ 18th Edition qualification.
  • ✔ Level 3 Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations (603/1275/0).
