Rise10 Recruitment are working with a well-established engineering business operating within the automation and intralogistics sector, supporting the design and delivery of complex automated systems for customers across the UK and beyond.
We are currently recruiting across three levels of Electrical Design, so whether you are an experienced Electrical Design Engineer, a Senior Engineer ready to take on greater responsibility, or an Electrical Design Manager looking for your next leadership opportunity, we would be interested in hearing from you.
One thing that is essential across all three roles: EPLAN experience.
Electrical Design Engineer
Working as part of the Electrical Design and wider Engineering teams, you will produce detailed electrical designs for automated systems, including circuit diagrams, component layouts, Bills of Materials and supporting calculations and documentation.
- Work closely with Project Engineering, Controls, Procurement, Installation and Project Management to ensure designs are delivered accurately, on time and to the required standards.
Senior Electrical Design Engineer
At Senior level, you'll take greater ownership of electrical design solutions and technical issues across projects, working closely with engineering and project teams from design through to installation and implementation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
