Electrical Design Engineer

Hybrid – 3 days per week onsite in Clevedon, Somerset

Salary is up to £43K – depending upon qualifications and experience

Duties

  • Electrical Design and Development of modules and sub-assemblies for manufacturing plant equipment.
  • Working in accordance with the company’s Design processes, ensuring all Engineering Specifications are met.
  • Creation of detailed Design Documentation (models, drawings, design data, Bill of Material, test data, calculations)
  • Provide Electrical support for other functions in the company when required
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams relating to project requirements
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of engineering processes and methodologies
  • Participate/contribute in design reviews, project meetings, and technical discussions

  • Hands on experience as an Electrical Engineer in the design and development of schematics, cable assemblies, BoM creation, part selection
  • Experience using Electrical CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical, and/or other electrical drafting tools)
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or other relevant electrical engineering qualifications/experience (with 2+ years Electrical Design experience in industry)
