Are you an experienced Electrical Design Engineer from a building services background, looking to step into a high–level role where you will be the technical authority on complex MEP design projects?

In this role you will lead electrical design work, check drawings and calculations, run project meetings, manage team workloads, support colleagues, and build strong client relationships. You will be the main technical point of contact for electrical design while helping the wider project team deliver high–quality work.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer looking to join an exciting consultancy offering technical responsibility, hybrid working, structured mentoring, chartership support, and long–term progression into leadership within the electrical design team.

The Role

  • Electrical Design Engineer within a multidisciplinary MEP consultancy.
  • Lead electrical building services design.
  • Review calculations and drawings, run project meetings, and support team workloads.
  • Hybrid role based in Dudley, with 2 days per week in the office.

The Person

  • Experienced Electrical Building Services Design Engineer.
  • Strong MEP design experience using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
  • Looking to act as a technical authority and progress into a leadership role.
  • Leadership experience and membership of a professional body such as IET or CIBSE would be advantageous.
