A local M&E building services engineering consultancy with unparalleled experience in the successful delivery of all forms of projects across the construction and real estate spheres. The services on offer range from design, TTD, dilapidations, surveys, NEC 3, decarb studies, technically advisory work and more. They operate across multiple sectors including Education, Commercial, Healthcare and MoD. The business is currently going through a big expansion and it is a very exciting time to join. Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver electrical building services designs across a range of projects.
  • Produce electrical calculations, specifications and drawings.
  • Design LV distribution, lighting, small power and fire alarm systems.
  • Carry out site surveys and inspections, with a mix of site and design work.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors and wider design teams.
  • Support projects from initial concept through to completion.
  • Work across sectors including education, commercial, healthcare and MoD.
  • Manage workload effectively and deliver work to agreed deadlines.

Education, Qualifications & Experience

  • HNC/HND or degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
  • Previous experience in electrical building services design.
  • Good knowledge of UK electrical standards and Building Regulations.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit.
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
