The Role

Electrical Design of automation solutions encompassing End of line machinery Design of Safety systems and architecture, encompassing the UK machine build program and third-party equipment using electrical and robotic methods to ensure all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements are observed for all work completed. Ability to produce 2D electrical wiring and panel diagrams using tools such as AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN. Oversee Electrical assembly within a workshop environment ensuring machinery and electrical systems are aligned and functional. Create accurate Bills of Materials for purchasing. Define equipment and parts from external suppliers. Maintain accurate records and files according to quality standard. Provide Electrical technical support to other departments within the Machine Systems team. Support sales team in pre-sales technical concept and budgeting activities. Establish and maintain a current library of Electrical drawings for modifications and upgrades as well as problem solving and fault finding. Creation and management of technical documentation to be supplied with machinery.
