Looking for your next position within the critical infrastructure environment?
Are you a Senior or Principal level Electrical Design Engineer who wants to move into a more leadership / PM position?
An established engineering business operating across the data centre and critical infrastructure sectors is looking for an M&E Design Lead to support the delivery of complex, mission-critical projects.
This role is suited to someone who understands data centre design, can guide technical decisions and enjoys coordinating solutions rather than spending their time producing detailed designs.
An electrical bias is preferred, although a strong understanding of multidisciplinary M&E systems is essential. If you are in one of the following positions, this role may suit you well!

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

If you’re at Senior level or above within Building Services Design, either in a typical M&E consultancy or data centre environment, I’d love to hear from you!
