Circet UK are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Manager to join our Wireless team.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Compile Electrical designs and reports using dedicated software to provide safe upgrade design path in line with requirements of MBNL, CTIL, and Cellnex project-specific standards/specifications.
  • Unterpret solutions into outline designs for review and insertion into overall detailed design drawing packs.
  • Review drawings for quality in design and safety in line with company and client requirements and processes.
  • Liaise with project managers to ensure delivery requirements are achieved to determine deadlines agreed with clients.
  • Support the Design Team in the delivery of high-quality, accurate project documentation.
  • Keep Circet internal and client systems up to date ensuring all work & milestone details are captured as necessary for accurate reporting.
  • Aid in the recruitment of Electrical Design team members when necessary, and identify resource requirements.
  • Liaise closely with Circet Electrical Build Manager as necessary to ensure design and build activities are in harmony.
  • Manage the Circet in-house team of electrical design engineers, planning work flow efficiently to ensure completion to strict deadlines.
  • Help maintain all relevant training and certification in line with NICEIC requirements and Circet policies.

Knowledge & Skills Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Design/Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Electrical Design.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a telecoms-related role.
  • Have experience in dealing with the NICEIC.
  • Previous experience in using electrical design software.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Proven ability to work and learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to organise work and support others in a timely and effective manner.
