EIS Hiring Electrical Engineer
EIS are hiring an Electrical Engineer to support ongoing preventative maintenance, engineering projects, and controls-focused improvements across a busy industrial site in Cardiff. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys varied work — from installation and testing to fault-finding and continuous improvement.
Day-to-Day Work
- Preventative maintenance across plant and equipment
- Testing distribution boards and completing electrical inspections
- Installing new circuits and running new containment
- Lighting replacements and general electrical upgrades
- Fault investigation and root-cause analysis
- Continuous improvement projects
- Panel upgrades and controls-related tasks
- Working closely with the engineering team to deliver safe, reliable plant performance
- Safety audits

What We’re Looking For
- Full electrical apprenticeship completed
- Industrial experience — heavy industry preferred
- Strong controls skills — ability to work confidently on control systems
- Competent electrician with solid engineering capability
- Someone reliable, proactive, and comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Hourly paid annual is 42k without overtime
