Role: Electrical Engineer
Location: Remote
Job Type: Contract
Payout: $80 - $130/hour
Role Overview:
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking an Electrical & Circuit Design Expert to work on a contract basis. The role involves designing and optimizing electrical circuits for high-performance applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate system requirements into robust circuit designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical schematics, PCB layouts, and circuit simulations using industry-standard tools.
- Validate circuit performance through prototyping, testing, and analysis to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate circuits into larger systems and troubleshoot design issues.
- Document design processes, schematics, and test results for internal and client review.
- Ensure designs meet regulatory standards and safety requirements for commercial deployment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical circuit design and PCB development.
- Proficiency with CAD tools such as Altium Designer, KiCad, or Eagle for schematic capture and layout.
- Experience with simulation software like SPICE, LTspice, or PSpice for circuit analysis.
- Strong understanding of signal integrity, power distribution, and EMC/EMI considerations.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as IPC-2221, IPC-2222, and IPC-A-610.
- Ability to read and interpret datasheets, application notes, and technical documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to debugging and validation.
