Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Engineer role based in Weybridge. The Electrical Engineer will design, install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems for residential and commercial projects, including power distribution, lighting, security systems, and external power installations.

- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and NAPIT standards
- Performing testing and inspection (including EICR)
- Documenting work with accurate test certificates and reports
- Collaborating with colleagues and advisors
- Communicating clearly with clients
- Prioritizing safety, reliability, and efficiency in all work
- Supporting estimating and planning
- Helping optimize project timelines
- Contributing to continuous improvement of company processes and service quality
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Electrical installation.
- Experience with power systems and power distribution in residential and commercial environments.
- Qualified to city and guilds level 3 (2365 or equivalent).
- City and guilds testing and inspection (2391) would be preferable.
- Knowledge and competence in testing is essential.
- ECS card preferable.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and electrical specifications.
- Proficiency in electrical testing, fault finding, and producing accurate inspection and test reports (e.g., EICR).
- Commitment to health and safety standards, including adherence to UK electrical regulations and best practices.
- Effective communication skills, customer-focused attitude, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to client sites within Surrey and surrounding areas.
